Web Summit Qatar 2024
WSQ - Tech Innovation Hub
THE BRIEF
The 2024 edition of Web Summit Qatar was the most significant event in the region, particularly for the technology and startup ecosystem.
It’s an international conference that gathers entrepreneurs, investors, and tech enthusiasts from around the world.
The summit was a notable success, drawing 15,000+ attendees from 118 countries and featuring over 1,000+ startups. This makes it one of the largest gatherings of startup companies in the Middle East, highlighting Qatar’s role as a burgeoning technology hub, indicating its importance as a platform for networking and collaboration.
With nearly 900 media representatives present, the summit received significant media attention, underscoring its prominence in Qatar’s event calendar. In line with this we understood how crucial it was to be part of the conversations happening at a top industry event in the region and tasked us with ensuring CEO participation.
THE DELIVERY
Given the high demand for speaking slots at all stages, we utilized our contacts with the organizers to set a meeting and talk about the angles of which our client could add value. We engaged in discussions with event organizers, articulating our ideas and showcasing how our clients could add value to the event and panels.
We tailored our client’s pitch to highlight their unique offerings. For Astra Tech, we highlighted Abdallah Abu Sheikh, Founder of Astra Tech and CEO of Botim, to discuss the growing landscape of inclusive FinTech through apps and AI. This led to securing three speaking opportunities for him: two as a panelist and another as a one-on-one session with fireside chat on the future of AI.
THE OUTCOME
