DUBAI, UAE – Integrated communications agency, Atteline, launches three new specialist departments this August 2023 as a response to emerging communication needs in the region and a fast-evolving market.
The agency’s newly added specialisms of Generation Next, Sustainability, and the Research Hub have been launched to help businesses across the MENA region more effectively address the ripe challenges of the era’s ‘shape-shifting’ youth culture, the growing global interest in sustainability and climate action, and the emerging need for more data-driven business activities.
To lead its Sustainability division and champion aligned goals, the organisation appointed Malaika Fernandes as its Sustainability Ambassador and Strategic Counsel.
Atteline Managing Director and Founder Sophie Simpson said the unprecedented developments in technology and change in consumer behaviours across the GCC region had been pivotal in the agency’s strategic move.
“With the change in consumer spending patterns, new industry innovations, and the GCC’s accelerated growth, Atteline has expanded its offering by formalising its already existing areas of expertise.
“Atteline forecast that communications in the region will change drastically in response to the emergence of a young creator economy designed around authenticity, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates’s focus on sustainability, and the massive growth of the data economy,” she said.
The strategic move also comes after the agency was recognised by the PRCA MENA Awards for its work across sustainability and corporate social responsibility through awarding it with various accolades including the ‘Consultancy of the Year’ in the medium-size category and ‘PR Leader of the Year’ by Simpson.
Atteline recently announced a record 51 percent increase in overall company revenue for the fiscal year 2021-2022, celebrated the first anniversary of its second country office in Manila Philippines, and opened its social media and content creation division.
To further support the agency’s growth, Simpson said four strategic new hires had been made across both Dubai and Manila offices, which included a Client Service Director for Dubai as well as hub specialists in Manila.
