THE BRIEF
With the Holy Month of Ramadan approaching, award-winning pioneer in the luxury food industry, Bateel, was ready to unveil its exquisite Ramadan collection and delectable Ramadan menu across its boutiques and cafés respectively in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Increasing brand education and strengthening Bateel’s positioning in the KSA market was a key focus for the brand.
THE DELIVERY
To meet the brief, and coinciding with the opening of the brand’s newly refurbished location in Tahlia Street, Riyadh, we tailored a comprehensive communications strategy that primarily focused on tactical media relations via an announcement press release, influencer engagement, media reviews, as well as an exclusive showcase given the nature of the audience in KSA and their preference for bespoke and private experiences.
As we built the dedicated press kit, we also simultaneously planned for the exclusive event that saw top-tier media, influencers and KOLs join us for a delectable Iftar-like experience at Café Bateel followed by a personalised journey through the boutique where the soon-to-launch Ramadan collection was unveiled.
Following the private event, a press release was shared with key consumer media titles and daily newspapers in Saudi Arabia in both English and Arabic languages.
Following the announcement, an ongoing tactic from our end was to consistently host media and influencers to review the space and cover it on print, online and social media platforms in order to sustain a constant drumbeat of coverage.
