How Team Culture Impacts a Company?

Looking back to 2021, when we started building the Manila team, I had one goal in mind: to create a productive, happy, and rewarding environment. It might sound cliché but it’s true. This was important to me because in my previous work experience, though I learned a lot and am thankful for the wonderful experiences I encountered, I knew one thing was missing – “happy vibes” and a healthy working environment.

When I transferred to Atteline and started working as an Office Admin Assistant, I was culture-shocked, and my eyes were opened to the importance of positive team culture and its impact on a company. Culture is so important as it impacts the company in so many ways:

United Team – Employee happiness heavily derives from being a united team. Being there for one another is key to boosting the morale and productivity of the whole team.

High Employee Retention Rate – Open lines of communication are essential and ensuring employees are heard is a huge part of this. Regular check-ins and tangible agreed actions create a framework to ensure everyone is on the same page and agreements are kept. 

Healthy Working Environment – A workplace that provides a safe space and an opportunity to learn and grow is the best place to work. Not only does it give peace of mind, it allows employees to be their true selves. The result? Positive suggestions will overflow and amazing work outputs will be seen. 

Happy Employees Means Growth – Employees for me are like engines if not well maintained the company will suffer and won’t run. Successful companies are where the best employees work and they are motivated, passionate and happy. 

All in all, I am in awe of all the new opportunities I have been given all these years and with the Manila growth of 100% from 2021, I am proud to say that the huge impact is the culture the company has set for everybody. With new clients and new colleagues to welcome as we grow and most importantly the endless opportunities that are provided alongside a work and life balance, Atteline always aims to provide and gives me that satisfaction that I am home.
